Manual ELISA
Gold Standard Diagnostics offers a range of instruments and systems for reading results from manually run ELISA assays. We offer a variety of ELISA reader machines and complete turn-key system packages to suit the diverse needs of our food and agriculture, water quality and environmental customers.
Selecting an ELISA Machine
An ELISA plate reader is a photometer designed to read and calculate colorimetric results from ELISA plate assays. The three primary considerations when choosing an ELISA machine are cost, throughput and flexibility. Customers working with a limited budget or with infrequent testing needs, may be most interested in minimizing the initial instrument cost. In testing situations with a high sample volume, throughput may be the most important factor. In other cases, testing may need to be performed in remote locations without access to a computer for instrument control, making flexibility a more important consideration.
Depend on Gold Standard Diagnostics for Reliable Results
Our instruments are built for long-term reliability and efficiency. Our computer-controlled 4303 plate reader is a workhorse capable of reading full plates or trays containing 8 or 12 well strips, as well as partial strips. It is also offered as a standalone instrument or as part of a turnkey system package including on-site training and supplies. Our Model 4700 strip reader can read up to 3 test strips at a time and boasts a convenient onboard printer. Meanwhile, our portable and cost effective M6+ photometer is capable of reading well strips as well as round and square cuvettes.
